My Song by Labi Siffre
My Song is a Labi Siffre album track from the 1972 record Crying Laughing Loving Lying. It is distinct from the later 1975 album Remember My Song, and it is not called a single here. Calling a piece my song is both possessive and modest, as if the writer were pointing at the one that still feels closest. The selected catalog source is titled My song – Labi Siffre. It supports the work reference as a community arrangement, but it does not turn the album track into a single.
