Demons by Imagine Dragons
Demons is a track by the American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons. It appears as track four on the band's debut studio album, Night Visions, released in the United States on 4 September 2012 through KIDinaKORNER and Interscope. The song had already appeared on the band's 2012 major-label debut EP, Continued Silence. As a single, Demons was worked to US radio: it went to triple-A on 28 January 2013, modern rock on 1 April 2013, and contemporary hit radio on 17 September 2013, so it is accurate to call it a single released to US radio on 28 January 2013 rather than a 2012 single. The credited writers are Reynolds, Sermon, McKee, Grant (Alex da Kid), and Mosser, and Alex da Kid produced it; band member Daniel Platzman is not among the credited writers. Recorded in 2011 at Westlake in West Hollywood, the pop-rock track runs about 2:57 to 2:58 and reached number six on the US Hot 100. The piano arrangement indexed here is a third-party arrangement, not a band-issued piano release. Because it is a third-party arrangement, read the score as an interpretation rather than a re-issue; keep the Night Visions track and its radio campaign as the original work. This entry concerns only the Imagine Dragons Night Visions track, since Demons is a title reused by unrelated songs.
