Steven Universe premiered on November 4, 2013, and concluded on January 21, 2019; she was an executive producer for its entire run and a storyboard artist for several of its episodes. A person credited as creator, executive producer and storyboard artist suggests how closely the planning and the drawing of the series ran through one pair of hands. For Steven Universe she has been nominated for several media industry awards, including six Primetime Emmy Awards, and she and the series received, among others, the 2018 Peabody Award for Childrenās & Youth Programming. In 2015 she designed the album cover of True Romance for Estelle, the voice of Garnet on the series. Designing an album cover for the voice of Garnet shows her work spilling past the screen to the people who voiced her characters. In June 2024 it was announced that she would write a new Adventure Time movie alongside Adam Muto and Patrick McHale.
