Browse piano sheets by DECO*27 on Zen Virtual Piano. In June 2013 DECO*27 considered quitting his music career because he felt he had done everything he wanted to do. He had taught himself guitar at 13, a choice inspired by his father, who used to sing and play guitar for him when he was a child. He then began studying desktop music, known as DTM, to make Vocaloid songs, and in 2008 he debuted as a Vocaloid producer. One way to hear the story is as a long road from a boy taking up the guitar his father played to a producer who felt, in 2013, that there was nothing left to do. On January 18, 2019 he released Otome Dissection, a song that drew attention for its themes of murder and suicide. It appeared on his sixth studio album, Android Girl, released on May 22, 2019, with every song on the album arranged by Rockwell. Undead Alice followed on December 16, 2020, and was revealed to be the last in a trilogy of albums that began with Ghost and Android Girl. Grouped together as a trilogy, the three albums read as one long chapter rather than as separate releases. In an interview with Real Sound he said he has changed the tuning of Miku's voice a little with each album, partly to express that Miku herself is growing and has gotten better too. In a separate comment he said he has been involved with Project Sekai (プロセカ) since its start, and that when it reached a theatrical film, the offer was the first of its kind in his career. Retuning Miku's voice across albums gives the singer something like a history of her own, one that listeners can follow from record to record.
